National Bank of Kyrgyzstan predicts 3 percent price increase in 2019
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan forecasts low inflationary dynamics during the first half of 2019 with some acceleration by the end of the year. The Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkunbek Abdygulov said this at a press conference today.
According to him, on average, inflation is forecasted at around 3 percent this year. At the same time, the National Bank notes that the main sectors of the economy will remain active.
«The inflow of remittances into the country and the growth of real salaries continue to support domestic demand. In 2018, net inflow of remittances increased by 5.5 percent, real salaries — by 3.8 percent,» Tolkunbek Abdygulov stressed.
