Development and land use standards drafted in Bishkek
Development and land use standards have been prepared in Bishkek. This was stated at a meeting in the Bishkek City Administration.
According to Askhat Tuleberdiev, the head of the Main Architecture Department of Bishkek, the rules set town planning regulations and determine the main directions of the city’s social, economic and planning development, protection of cultural heritage, environment and rational use of natural resources, establish territorial zones and regulations on their use.
One of the objectives of the standards’ development is to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities, including the holders of rights to land and capital construction projects.
Askhat Tuleberdiev added that the rules would allow to create favorable conditions for attracting investment, including by providing the opportunity to select the most efficient types of permitted use of land.
The head of the department noted that the final document on the standards of development and land use in Bishkek would be prepared by March 20, 2019.
«The document includes comments from the city administration, experts. We process them and will include into the rules. At the same time, they are translated into the state language,» he informed.
