Director of Opera and Ballet Theater submits resignation notice
Director of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybayev, Bolotbek Osmonov, submitted a resignation notice. He told 24.kg news agency.
Bolotbek Osmonov did not comment on the reason for the decision. However, the day before, the staff of the theater made an open appeal to the Minister of Culture Azamat Zhamankulov with a request to take control of the situation around the alleged resignation of Bolotbek Osmonov.
They said in the appeal that, «according to some information, he was forced to write a letter of resignation at his own request.»
