Kyrgyzstan initiates 10 criminal cases on murder of minors in 2018
At least 10 criminal cases were initiated on the facts of murders of minors in Kyrgyzstan in 2018. Prosecutor of the Department for Combating Corruption and Supervising Execution of Laws of the Prosecutor General’s Office Timur Saitov said at a round table discussion.
According to him, 8 criminal cases were sent to courts. Guilty verdicts related to deprivation of liberty, including life sentences, were brought in on 4 cases.
«Four more cases are being considered in the courts, and two more are under investigation,» the prosecutor noted.
Recall, 136 child abuse cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2018, 13 children were killed.
