President of Kyrgyzstan supports increase of tax rates in mining industry
It is necessary to change the tax rates in the mining industry. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at a meeting of the Security Council on Measures to Ensure Security in Subsoil Use Sphere in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The head of state noted that taxes in the mining industry ranged from 15 to 50 percent in some countries.
«In our country, the tax burden is on average 8-10 percent. And there are a lot of those who do not pay. We need to change the rates,» the president said.
