National Hospital doctors ask to initiate proceedings against head of department
Doctors of the National Hospital of Kyrgyzstan held a rally in front of the building of the Parliament. They demand to initiate a criminal case against the head of the Eye Microsurgery Department Saltanat Imanbaeva.
According to the lawyer Baktybek Zhumashev, the doctors stated about the falsification of sick notes, use of state property for personal purposes, and the ghost employees who were paid wages.
«Doctors have repeatedly written appeals to the Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbaev and statements to the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes. However, there was no response. In total, five applications were sent to the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), but no measures were taken on any of them. Medical workers ask the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, Security Council Secretary Damir Sagynbayev and the Prime Minister Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev to take this issue under control,» Baktybek Zhumashev told.
