Violator shot dead in Talas previously convicted for illegal border crossing
A man, who was shot dead by the border guards of Kyrgyzstan in Talas region, has previously been convicted of illegal crossing the state border of Kazakhstan. The National Security Committee of Kazakhstan reported.
It is specified that Taraz border detachment is searching for two other offenders and horses, which they have driven across the border.
On January 23, three unknown persons drove 10–15 horses across the border from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan in Zhaiylgan area, Manas district of Talas region. When the border guards tried to detain the violators, they resisted, threatening with a knife. One of them was shot dead by the servicemen during the arrest.
