New buses to be delivered to Bishkek in April
New buses will be delivered to Bishkek in late March or early April. Nurlan Koichubakov, Director of the Bishkek Passenger Transportation Company, told at a press conference.
According to him, urban transport fleet has not been updated for more than ten years.
«We bought 69 buses at the expense of the budget. But we are not going to stop at this, we plan to purchase more. We are working on the issue,» he said.
In 2019, the city administration will acquire 69 new buses that run on gas (methane). Chinese corporation Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co. Ltd won tender for their delivery.
