Infocom State Enterprise earns 100 million soms on vanity number plates
Infocom State Enterprise replenished the budget of Kyrgyzstan by 100 million soms through the production and sale of vanity state number plates. Press service of the enterprise reported.
On June 1, 2016, the Center for Production of State Registration Plates of Infocom State Enterprise started the production of license plates for vehicles. Previously, they were produced by a private company — Anker LLC.
Since the start of production, more than 46 million for manufacturing and 56 million soms for the sale of plates with a special combination of figures have been transferred to the state budget.
A total of 12,000 non-auction, 700 auction and 10 personal combinations were sold. Infocom transfers 91 percent of profit from the sale of license plates with a special combination and 100 percent from sale of personal number plates to the budget.
