At least 15 PPP projects at implementation stage in Kyrgyzstan
At least 15 public-private partnership (PPP) projects are at different stages of implementation in Kyrgyzstan. Daniyar Abdyldaev, head of the Public-Private Partnership Department of the Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investments told at a press conference.
According to him, the total cost of projects is estimated at $ 160 million. Four projects are expected to be implemented in the field of transport, 3 — in the field of health care, 2 — in education sphere and 2 — in social services sector.
«In 2018, we launched the first PPP project to create hemodialysis centers. In total, we plan to open four such centers — two in Bishkek, one in Osh and one in Jalal-Abad. In 2018, we signed an agreement on the reconstruction of Kyzyl Kyrgyzstan cinema. This is a small project that costs a little more than $ 300,000,» Daniyar Abdyldaev told.
