President of Kyrgyzstan ratifies border demarcation agreement with Kazakhstan
Agreement on the demarcation of Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border has been ratified. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.
According to it, Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the relevant law the day before. The law was adopted by the Parliament on December 6, 2018. Article 2 of this document instructs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to notify the Kazakh side of the implementation by Kyrgyzstan of the internal state procedures necessary for the entry into force of the border demarcation agreement.
The law comes into force on the date of its official publication.
Deputies of the Majilis of Kazakhstan approved the ratification of the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on the regime of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz state border last year.
