Journalists protest against police violence in Bishkek
Journalists of Super Info newspaper and Super.kg media outlet hold a rally in front of the Bishkek police department with posters «I am against police violence.»
They hold the rally in support of their colleagues who were detained yesterday during the protest on Ala-Too square.
«We believe that the detention of journalists at the rally is an obstacle to the performance of professional duties. Police illegally restricted the rights of journalists,» Super.kg director Baktygul Sokusheva said.
The protest against Chinese expansion took place yesterday in the capital. Employees of two TV channels were detained during dispersal of the protesters.
