Boeing 707 crash in Iran. Flight engineer taken to hospital
Only one person — a flight engineer — survived the crash of a Boeing 707 cargo plane that took off from Bishkek today. Russian media report.
There were 16 people aboard.
Bodies of seven dead were found on the crash site, the Iranian Emergency Management Department reported.
The plane took off from Bishkek. It is known that it was a cargo plane which performed regular flights from Bishkek. It carried meat from Kyrgyzstan to Iran. At least 30 tons of meat were on board of the Boeing 707.
Boeing 707, flying from Bishkek, crashed today near Tehran. The accident occurred in the area of Safadasht.
