School of Future Leaders project was launched in Kyrgyzstan, aimed at training of upper-form students for admission to the best world universities on a grant basis. Altynbek Begaliyev, Director of Logos Company, told at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.

According to him, social orientation of the project is unique.

«Our main goal is to prepare gifted students for admission to the top universities in the world, primarily in the United States, on a grant basis,» he said.

The program is designed for 18 months. It includes English language courses, and preparation for passing an international exam, writing an essay, and development of the necessary skills, including leadership skills. Classes will be held in English.

At the first stage, schoolchildren should send an application, a motivation letter, copies of achievements (diplomas, certificates, letters of gratitude), and a report card. At the second stage, they will have to pass an English test and a personal interview.

Education for schoolchildren will be free thanks to the involvement of various sponsors, including T. Egemberdiev Creative Foundation.

«We will select a small number of students. Training will take place in Bishkek, but we understand that gifted young people live not only in the capital. For them, the classes will be broadcast online, in the summer they will be able to come to Bishkek,» Altynbek Begaliyev told.

He added that an average cost of education in a top U.S. university was $ 50,000, about $ 10,000 more would be required annually for living.
