Bishkek disinfects public transport to prevent ARVI
Measures are being taken in Bishkek’s municipal public transport to prevent acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) and flu. Press service of the city administration reported.
«Buses and trolleybuses are treated with disinfectant solutions before serving their routes, at the final stops and after returning to the depot. Handles, handrails, seat handles, steering wheel, panels and entrance doors are disinfected,» the city administration stressed.
Preventive measures will be held until a decline in the incidence of ARVI and influenza.
Representatives of Bishkek city administration added that one should put on medical face masks during a trip in public transport, use antibacterial wipes and wash hands with soap after a contact with handrails, seat handles, coins and banknotes.
