Drunk drivers fined 262,500 soms for 3 days in Kyrgyzstan
Since the beginning of 2019, the police detected at least 15 drivers who drove vehicles while being drunk. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
All the drivers were fined 17,500 soms each. The total amount of fines is 262,500 soms.
The press service noted that all these offenses were registered in the Unified Register of Violations automated information system, which operates in real time mode. There were no failures in URV work from January 3 to January 4, 2019, the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
In addition to drunk driving, drivers were fined for violation of the rules of using motorcycle helmets or seat belts in populated areas, driving without documents and violation of other traffic rules.
