Number of patients undergoing subsidized hemodialysis increases in Kyrgyzstan
At least 134 patients have been transferred to subsidized hemodialysis through the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund from January 1, 2019. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Previously, patients underwent the procedure at their own expense.
Currently, at least 554 people undergo hemodialysis services on a budget-funded basis, 764 people get subsidized hemodialysis.
The funds allocated to the CMIF for hemodialysis services will be enough until the mid-2019.
