Sooronbai Jeenbekov congratulates Omurbek Tekebayev on birthday
Leader of Ata Meken party, Omurbek Tekebayev, celebrated his birthday on December 22. He turned 60 years old. The politician was forced to celebrate his jubilee in prison conditions in a separate cell. He is serving his eight-year term on corruption charges.
Omurbek Tekebayev was hospitalized on December 13. Doctors diagnosed him with preinfarction state. The convict has a strong arrhythmia. He undergoes treatment. Doctors say that Omurbek Tekebayev needs constant monitoring.
The deputies of the Parliament, party members, prominent politicians and public figures visited the politician in hospital.
The head of state also called Omurbek Tekebayev and congratulated him on his birthday.
