Elmira Baryktabasova heads Council on Selection of Judges
Elmira Baryktabasova was elected Chairwoman of the Council on the Selection of Judges. Press service of the Council reported.
Altynbek Kubatbekov became the Deputy Chairman of the Council.
Re-elections were held in connection with the expiration of the term of office of the current Chairman of the Council on the Selection of Judges Tilektesh Begaliev.
According to the Law on the Council for the Selection of Judges of the Kyrgyz Republic, the chairman and deputy chairman are elected by open vote for a year.
