Social deductions of migrants from Turkey to be transferred to Kyrgyzstan
Deputies of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan ratified an agreement on social security between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the third reading. The decision was made the day before at a meeting.
The document was signed on April 9, 2018 during the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov to Turkey.
The agreement provides that, for example, if a citizen of Kyrgyzstan has worked in Turkey for a number of years, he or she will be able to get a pension upon reaching the retirement age. Turkey will transfer their pensions to Kyrgyzstan. In addition, a person can apply for a pension in Kyrgyzstan in accordance with his work experience.
