Director of Kyrgyz State Circus Kurmangazy Isanaev dismissed
Director of the Kyrgyz State Circus Kurmangazy Isanaev was dismissed. The Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism reported.
According to the ministry, the head of the circus left the post at his own request. «I wrote a letter of resignation by myself. No one dismisses me,» said Kurmangazy Isanaev.
Earlier, circus artists wrote a petition to the head of the Ministry of Culture Azamat Zhamankulov with a request to dismiss Kurmangazy Isanaev. The deputies of the Parliament also stated about violations. So, at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on social issues, education, science, culture and health care Aida Kasymalieva said that corruption was rampant in the circus. Her words were confirmed by the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Accounts Chamber: numerous violations were revealed.
Kurmangazy Isanaev, responding to the accusations of employees of the circus, claimed that he did not violate the laws.
