Deputy Commandant of General Staff detained in Bishkek
Deputy Chief of the Commandant’s Service Department of the General Staff was detained in Bishkek. The State Committee for National Security informed 24.kg news agency.
The military man was caught red-handed when receiving a bribe of 18,000 soms.
«Earlier, the Military Prosecutor’s Office opened a criminal case on the fact of extortion of a bribe based on the materials of the Anti-Corruption Service of the State Committee for National Security. Investigative measures are underway,» the committee said.
