Border guards, SCNS detain smuggled mobile phones, grapes
Border guards together with the State Committee for National Security officers of Kyrgyzstan detained smuggled goods for a total of 3.2 million soms. Press center of the state committee reported.
A citizen of Kyrgyzstan was detained in Sai area of Leilek district, Batken region for illegal crossing of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border outside the checkpoint. At least 200 Samsung A6 mobile phones and 320 boxes of grapes were found in course of inspection of his Mercedes-Benz Sprinter car.
Kyrgyzstani did not have accompanying documents for the cargo. After drawing up the documents, the detained and smuggled goods were handed over to employees of the territorial subdivision of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
