Migrants transfer $ 2,242.9 billion to Kyrgyzstan since beginning of 2018
In the first ten months of 2018, the volume of remittances to Kyrgyzstan is estimated at $ 2,242.9 billion. The National Bank reported.
Compared to the same period last year, the figure grew by $ 160.2 million. Over 90 percent of remittances are revenues from Russia — $ 2,203 billion. The United States take the 2nd place with $ 21.8 million.
For ten months, transfers from Kyrgyzstan to other countries amounted to $ 444.7 million.
The net inflow of remittances to the republic in January-October 2018 amounted to $ 1,798.2 billion.
