New damages found at Uch-Kurgan HPS
New damages were found at Uch-Kurgan hydropower station. Press service of Electric Stations Company reported.
Repair work on the hydraulic unit 2 at the hydropower station continues. High-voltage tests detected additional damage of the stator winding. Power reserve is 350 megawatts.
The remaining power facilities operate as usual. Electricity generation for the past day amounted to 60.8 million kilowatt-hours.
Recall, on November 19, the hydraulic unit 2 was disconnected from the differential protection of the stator at Uch-Kurgan hydropower station with a load drop of 45 megawatts.
