President asks donors to help with implementation of development strategy
President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov asked international donors to help with the implementation of the National Development Strategy of Kyrgyzstan. He stated this today at a meeting with representatives of donor organizations and development partners.
The head of state noted that the efforts of the government to implement the National Strategy at this stage were not enough.
«We need partner support. But I would like to focus on the effectiveness of the use of donor assistance. There are facts of non-disbursement by government agencies of foreign already received aid,» said Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
The head of state initiated holding of a Donor Conference in the spring of 2019.
Representatives of diplomatic missions and more than 50 international organizations participate in the meeting.
