Over 1,000 car owners fined for non-payment of tax in Kyrgyzstan
The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan fined 1,031 car owners for late payment of tax on vehicles. The press service of the STS reported.
Together with the staff of the Main Directorate for Traffic Safety, the taxmen conducted 405 raids to detect tax evaders. According to their results, fines have been issued for 1.7 million soms. About 1.4 million soms of the sum were transferred to the budget.
«Raids continue. The deadline for payment of transport tax expired on September 4. Non-payment of the tax is punished by 2,000 soms fine. In addition, fee is charged for each day of delay. We urge car owners who did not have time to pay the tax to do it now,» statement says.
