Damirbek Nazarov became the Chairman of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek. Office of the court confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
Damirbek Nazarov is known for having passed a sentence on the case of ex-deputy Karganbek Samakov. Supporters of the convict accused Damirbek Nazarov of «execution of orders from above.» The servant of Themis kept silence and did not comment on the charges.
The former court chairman, Ernis Chotkaraev, has disappeared. According to some information, he left the country. Note, the Supreme Court wrote a statement against him to the Disciplinary Commission of the Council of Judges.
Ernis Chotkaraev is suspected of colluding with judges who appropriated fines levied on drivers for violation of the traffic rules. In some cases, judges held formal meetings without violators.
