Ex-adviser to the former president of Kyrgyzstan Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov does not squeal on anyone. SDPK spokeswoman Kunduz Zholdubaeva told reporters.

According to her, reports in the media and on social networking sites about the cooperation of the arrested Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov with the investigation are ordinary rumors, they are not confirmed by anything and are being spread intentionally.

«We hear similar rumors for half a year. For example, they said that the wife of Aibek Kaliev came to the State Committee for National Security at night with 7 million. The lawyer denied it. People say that Ilmiyanov, Isakov allegedly testify against others. The events around Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov is another provocation and attempts to excite the society,» said Kunduz Zholdubaeva.

She added that a letter on the case of the ex-adviser came to the party leadership from the Main Investigation Department of the SCNS. It states that the defendant received $ 150,000 from Diesel Complect enterprise as a reward and the so-called «sponsor support» during the presidential election in 2017.

SDPK recommended the investigators to turn to the CEC, where they transferred all the information on the costs of elections of the head of state, and to the incumbent President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, since he was the only candidate from the Social Democrats.

Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov was placed in pretrial detention center of SCNS until November 28. He was charged with fraud. According to investigators, Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov received $ 150,000 from one of the businessmen. The ex-presidential adviser was detained in Kazan and extradited to Bishkek.
