Electoral deposit for people with disabilities to be reduced to 50,000 soms
The size of the electoral deposit for people with disabilities will be reduced to 50,000 soms. Deputies of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved the bill in the first reading.
The initiator of the project is the president. In the current legislation, the deposit in a single-mandate constituency is 100,000 soms. It is proposed to reduce it for candidates with disabilities of the first and second groups to 50,000 soms, and for candidates with disabilities of the third group — to 70,000 soms.
In addition, the deputies considered and adopted the draft resolution of the Parliament «On approval of the amount of the monetary reward of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States’ Chingiz Aitmatov Prize for 2025». It is proposed to set the amount of the monetary reward at 1 million soms.
