Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan to buy three concrete plants this year
The Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan will buy three new concrete plants in 2024. The First Deputy Minister Talantbek Soltobaev announced at a briefing.
According to him, the ministry currently has 15 concrete plants on its balance sheet, four of which were bought in 2023.
«We are buying three more plants, but this does not mean that the need is completely met. We have to buy 15-20 more plants. We are gradually increasing this potential,» Talantbek Soltobaev said.
He recalled that this year the ministry will buy 453 units of equipment, including construction machinery, small equipment and production units. In total, more than 700 units of equipment will be purchased as part of the modernization program. According to the official, this will speed up road construction and improve the condition of the highways.
