Projects for $186 million implemented within investment forum
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev told that a business forum aimed at strengthening interaction between entrepreneurs and foreign investors has been held for 10 years. He announced this at the event in Bishkek.
About 5,000 businessmen are participating in the forum, including representatives of 15 foreign countries.
«Based on the forum, about 20 projects have reached the international level. Projects for $186 million are being implemented,» Bakyt Torobaev noted.
The government provides significant preferences for large investors investing more than $10 million in the economy, he said. These companies are exempt from paying VAT, sales and income taxes. In addition, the state is ready to provide land for the placement of production facilities.
«We are doing everything possible to create comfortable conditions for investors interested in the development of our market,» the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet said.
