Sadyr Japarov offers condolences to Recep Tayyip Erdogan over terrorist attack
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov sent a telegram of condolences to the leader of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in connection with the tragedy that occurred as a result of a terrorist attack in Ankara. The press service of the head of state reported.
«I received the news of the terrorist attack that occurred on October 23, 2024 at TUSAŞ company in the city of Ankara with deep sorrow. On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. I wish a speedy recovery to all those injured,» Sadyr Japarov said.
He added that Kyrgyzstan strongly condemns terrorism in all its manifestations that pose a threat to peace and stability, and always supports fraternal Turkey in the fight against it.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic also strongly condemned the terrorist attack.
The terrorist attack was committed near the building of TUSAŞ aerospace company in Ankara on October 23. According to Turkish media, the attack began with an explosion near the entrance to the plant in Kahramankazan district. According to preliminary information, a suicide bomber set off the explosives. Then an armed group entered the territory of the enterprise.
