Cabinet Chairman Akylbek Japarov inspects Bishkek HPP
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant (HPP) and inspected the operation of the power facility.
According to the press service, together with the Mayor of the capital Aibek Dzhunushaliev, the Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev and representatives of the relevant structures, they inspected a number of facilities of the HPP. It is reported that the TBEA company has completed major repairs of two units.
Akylbek Japarov emphasized that the Bishkek HPP is one of the most important power facilities in the country, providing electricity and heat to a significant part of the capital, instructing to step up control over the operation of thermal power facilities, as well as current repair work.
During the meeting with the relevant structures, other pressing issues were discussed, including the progress of connecting residential buildings, social and other facilities in the city to heating networks.
