No plans to increase salaries of doctors in 2025 - Ministry of Health
There are no plans to increase the salaries of doctors in 2025. The First Deputy Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mederbek Ismailov said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on social policy.
According to him, there are 17,000 staff units of medical personnel in the country, while 12,000 actually work.
The official reminded that from September 2024 doctors’ salaries were raised by 50 percent, nurses — by 20 percent, junior medical staff — by 10 percent. «An increase is not included in the republican forecast budget. We are negotiating with the Ministry of Finance on this issue,» he said.
Deputies considered the budget of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025 and the planning period of 2026-2027.
