Capital of National Bank of Kyrgyzstan increases by 59 percent
The capital of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has increased by 59 percent over the past year. The bank provided such data in its materials.
According to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, as of September 30, 2024, the capital amounted to 83,257,614 billion soms. A year ago, the capital of the National Bank was 52,388,856 soms.
The increase was mainly due to the reserve for revaluation of foreign currency and gold. If in 2023, as of September 30, this amount was 31,425,123 soms, then 68,359,351 soms were recorded for the same period of the current year. The growth reached 118 percent.
