Earthquake of magnitude 6 registered on Kyrgyz-Chinese border
An earthquake of magnitude 6 was registered on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border. The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The epicenter was located on the territory of China, 40 kilometers southeast of Bedel village, 80 kilometers southeast of Kumtor mine, 150 kilometers southeast of Karakol, 153 kilometers southeast of Kadzhi-Sai.
Intensity of the earthquake in the settlements of Kyrgyzstan reached: in Bedel, Yshtyk, Kara-Sai villages — magnitude 4, at the Kumtor mine — about magnitude 3.
