First meeting of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Company held in Bishkek
The first meeting of the participants of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Company LLC was held in Bishkek on October 11 with the participation of the heads of the railway administrations of China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The press service of Kyrgyz Temir Zholu state enterprise reported.
The company was created to implement China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project. The founders are China State Railway Corporation, Kyrgyz Temir Zholu state enterprise and Uzbekiston Temir Yollari JSC.
The main activities of the company will be aimed at financing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the railway line on the section passing through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the composition of the board of directors and the management of the executive body of the company were approved. In addition, financing issues were discussed and an investment plan for 2024 was adopted.
