Chinese company destroying glaciers in Alai district
A Chinese company that mines coal in Alai district is destroying glaciers. Deputy Zhanarbek Akayev stated at a meeting of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the deputy, he has written three letters to the prosecutor’s office in a year. Journalists have repeatedly written about it, but no one can stop the company. At the same time, the Prosecutor General’s Office issued a warning to the Chinese investor.
Zhanarbek Akayev demanded from the authorities to stop the destruction of glaciers this very day.
