Villager kills mother of four with axe in Uzgen
Villager killed a mother of four with an axe in Uzgen district of Osh region. A public figure Assol Moldokmatova reported, citing relatives of the victim.
The tragedy occurred in Zhylaldy village on October 4. The relatives of the deceased fear that the attacker may be recognized as insane and he will evade punishment.
Commenting on the incident, the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Osh region noted that the 28-year-old woman was hit with an axe by a neighbor in the yard of her house. She died.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 122 «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Expert examinations have been ordered. Witnesses have been questioned.
As a result of investigative measures, 24-year-old local resident was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation continues.
