Director of Seventh Channel elected Chairman of Union of Journalists
The 10th Congress of the Union of Journalists of Kyrgyzstan was held in Bishkek. Its participants reported.
A new chairman was elected at the Congress. He is the General Director of the Seventh Channel Television and Radio Company Ilyazbek Baltashev.
Prior to this, the permanent head of the professional association of media workers was Abdykadyr Sultanbaev. He had led the union since 1991.
