Heads of Uzbek and Tajik diasporas detained in Russia for organizing migration
The heads of the Uzbek and Tajik diasporas were detained in Russia for organizing illegal migration activities and issuing certificates of knowledge of the Russian language. Podrobno.uz reported.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Irkutsk Oblast, the chairman of the Uzbek national center and the deputy chairman of the Tajik diaspora, together with the center for additional education, issued certificates of proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of history and the basics of Russian legislation for money.
The investigators found out that the perpetrators received about 8,000 rubles for a certificate confirming knowledge of the Russian language, earning a total of more than 1.5 million rubles.
During searches in the office and homes of the defendants, computers, flash drives, 1.7 million rubles in cash, bank cards, blank cartridges and documents were seized as material evidence.
