Head of National Hospital department detained in Bishkek
The head of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the National Hospital and his subordinate have been detained in Bishkek. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS) reported.
According to it, within the framework of the initiated criminal case, the head of the department and a doctor were detained for systematic receipt of funds and money laundering. A preventive measure in the form of detention in the pre-trial detention center of the SCNS was chosen for them.
«The investigators found out that the head of the department and his close relatives have property worth about $2 million. This amount does not coincide with the actual salary of the doctor. He received a salary of about 400,000 soms per year,» the statement says.
