Bishkek and Rome cities sign Memorandum of Understanding
The cities of Bishkek and Rome signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The press service of the capital’s municipality reported.
According to it, this happened as part of the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov to Italy.
The document was signed by the Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev and the head of the municipality of Rome Francesca Del Bello.
As part of the memorandum, the parties intend to create a tool for the development and support of mutual rapprochement, friendship and knowledge between the cities through the exchange of experience and activities of international interest in the following areas of cooperation:
- Urban management and regeneration;
- Environmental protection and sustainable development;
- Education and culture;
- Social development;
- Social inclusion and innovation.
It was reported earlier that the grand opening of Kyrgyzstan Park in Rome took place as part of the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Italian Republic.
