Days of Kyrgyz Cinema to be held in Mongolia
A meeting with Mongolian filmmakers took place in Bishkek the day before. The Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Kyrgyz Republic Taalaibek Kulmendeev posted on social media.
A film director, actor who played the main role of Temujin (Genghis Khan) in the film «Under the Eternal Sky», People’s Artist of Mongolia Agvaantseren Enkhtaivan, film director, cameraman Otgonzorig Batchuluun and screenwriter, producer Davaasuren Luvsannamsrai arrived in Kyrgyzstan.
The filmmakers discussed issues of Kyrgyzstan-Mongolia relations and agreed to take effective steps aimed at further strengthening cooperation in the field of cinema. They agreed to hold Days of Kyrgyz Cinema in Mongolia and vice versa.
The meeting was reportedly organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Kyrgyzstan.
