Head of Uzbekistan approves agreement on work of resorts in Issyk-Kul region
Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on resort and recreational facilities located on the territory of Issyk-Kul region. The National Database of Legislation of the republic says.
The document is intended to regulate the property rights to recreational facilities located on the shores of the lake, as well as to ensure their further operation.
The list includes the following resorts: Golden Sands of Central Asia (formerly Bosteri), Rokhat-NBU (formerly Rakhat), Dilorom (formerly Enesai), as well as the unfinished Buston.
The Kyrgyz side transfers the ownership of these facilities to the Uzbek side, which determines authorized organizations to exercise ownership rights to these facilities.
Tashkent Mechanical Plant JSC will be the authorized agent for Golden Sands of Central Asia resort, and National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan JSC will be the authorized agent for Rohat-NBU.
Asakabank JSC will be the authorized agent for Dilorom resort, and Uzpromstroibank JSC will be the authorized agent for the unfinished construction of Buston resort.
The agreement was signed on July 18, 2024 in Tashkent during the visit of President Sadyr Japarov to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic approved this agreement on September 23.
