Visas for holders of diplomatic passports of Kyrgyzstan and Venezuela abolished
On the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Yvan Gil Pinto.
The parties expressed interest in intensifying the bilateral dialogue and discussed potential areas of mutually beneficial cooperation. In addition, they emphasized the importance of continuing close interaction within international organizations, especially in the context of the Kyrgyz Republic’s candidacy for non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028.
Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, noting the ongoing multi-vector and open foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan, announced Kyrgyzstan’s interest in developing relations with Latin American countries.
Following the meeting, the heads of foreign affairs agencies signed an agreement on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
