Kyrgyz wrestler disqualified for 12 years for doping
Freestyle wrestler from Kyrgyzstan Sayakbai Usupov has been disqualified for 12 years for doping. The website of the International Testing Agency says.
According to it, the athlete from the Kyrgyz Republic failed a doping test on April 24, 2022.
Traces of the banned drugs Drostanolone and Trenbolone were found in his body.
The disqualification period is until June 8, 2034.
On April 24, 2022, Sayakbai Usupov lost a competition for the 3rd place to an Uzbek wrestler at the Asian Championships.
Earlier it was reported that another Greco-Roman wrestler from the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Talantbekov, was disqualified until June 11, 2027.
