Kyrgyz director Zhandos Dzholdoshov wins at International Film Festival
The film Connection (Bailanysh) by Kyrgyz film director Zhandos Dzholdoshov took first place in the Best Social Drama nomination at the III Burabay Short Film Festival. The press release says.
The award ceremony took place on September 18 as part of the IV Voices of Friends: Poetry and Visual Arts Festival, which was attended by more than 60 participants from 15 countries.
The film Connection (Bailanysh) will be presented at the ECG Film Festival, which will be held in the UK in May 2025.
III Burabay Short Film Festival is an international short film festival, organized for the first time by the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) in 2021. It is held annually in the resort area of Burabay National Park near Borovoe Lake (Kazakhstan).
