Cabinet instructs state enterprises to buy lamps only from Mailuu-Suu plant
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan instructed domestic enterprises to buy lamps only from Mailuu-Suu plant. The Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev announced at a meeting of the Parliament.
The minister noted that if earlier the plant produced incandescent electric lamps, now it produces energy-saving light bulbs.
«All energy companies and power distribution zones have been instructed to buy lamps from Mailuu-Suu plant, and we urge others to use them,» Taalaibek Ibraev said.
Deputy Kamila Talieva recommended advertising domestic products more.
At the meeting, the deputies approved the draft law «On Energy Saving» in the second reading. The document proposes updating current terms and introducing new terms in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency.
